Offered is “The 1952 Senior Herald” from Humes High School in Memphis, Tennessee, featuring Elvis Presley in his junior year. He is pictured twice: first in a group photograph of the Company B Second Platoon ROTC, near the center in the second row in uniform, and then again on page 57 in the back row of the second year speech group photo. The 1952 yearbook is rarely seen and offers a glimpse into the early days of a young Elvis. This copy emanates from Tommy Young, high school friend of George Klein and later friend and travel companion of Elvis in 1957. Tommy has boldy signed the book across the top of the cover. The yearbook measures approximately 10 1/2 by 8 inches and presents with moderate wear. Excellent condition.
