The offered 45 RPM RCA acetate features both songs from one of RCA's first singles they released after acquiring Elvis Presley from Sun Records. “Good Rockin' Tonight” and I Don't Care if the Sun Don't Shine” were released on 45 and 78 RPM formats on January 23, 1956, and both initial releases had matrix numbers that started with "F2WW-8043" and "F2WW-8042." The offered acetate presents with handwritten notations in the label areas that have the song name and "E. Presley," but also "F2WW-8043" and "F2WW-8042" on their respective sides. Those matrix number references put this acetate in the era of RCA's initial Elvis releases in 1956. The record measures 10 inches in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated (quoted here). GD+ with moderate to heavy scuffing and a good number of scratches. Playable condition.
