Offered is a rare promotional envelope for Elvis Presley's 1962 film Girls! Girls! Girls!, including an original, first pressing of the soundtrack album and a promotional 1963 Elvis calendar.  Colonel Parker wasn't happy just sending a postcard or letter, when he promoted Elvis' films, or later concerts, he would employ these large envelopes and fill them with records and other swag. The envelopes themselves rarely survive, and the offered example has sustained heavy wear and distress, which is to be expected. The front promotes the film, as well as Elvis' lates RCA LP Pot Luck. And on the reverse, as always, it reads. "Compliments of Elvis and the Colonel." The calendars were eventually used in record stores and given out when folks bought Elvis records in late-1962. The envelope measures 13 x 13 inches and presents in Very Good condition with tears and paper loss.
