1967 Clambake British Quad Movie Poster – Starring Elvis Presley – Combo Poster with Eight on the Run

The offered British quad movie poster promoted Elvis Presley's 1967 film Clambake, as well as the comedy Eight on the Run. United Artists was experimenting with cross promoting two films at once, most-likely is an effort to lower the promotional costs for both. The U.S. versions of most Elvis Presley movie posters are readily available, but the British Quad versions are much more scarce. The artwork is always distinct, and the color schemes are bold and vivacious making these U.K. posters highly sought after by collectors. The offered example promises "It's Elvis breaking speed records as he go-goes on water..go-goes with songs and go-goes wild with bikes, beachniks and bikinis!!!" The poster measures 40 x 30 inches and presents with small separations at the intersections of the original factory folds, some very small paper chipping at the edge and some small stains.
