Offered is a very nice fan response letter from Elvis Presley mailed on February 17, 1971, to a Chicago fan after the fan sent a gift to Graceland. The letter reads: "Dear Helmut, Thank you very much for the nice gift. I certainly do appreciate your thoughtfulness. Best wishes to you and yours. Sincerely, Elvis Presley" The letter was signed beautifully by one of the secretaries that handled the fan mail at Graceland in those days. The fan worked in a clothing store at the time, and he had sent Elvis two shirts he thought he would like and were just his style. Also included is the original mailing envelope with the return address "Elvis Presley 3764 Highway 51 So. Memphis, Tenn. 38116." Both letter and envelope are housed in a framed display measuring 13 x 21 inches. The letter and envelope present in Excellent condition.
