Offered is a large poster signed by NHL legend and Hall of Famer Bobby Hull. The famous photo was taken on December 7, 1968, in a match up against the Montreal Canadiens and one of their main enforcers, John Ferguson. Montreal won the match, 6-3, but Hull got the better of Ferguson, by all accounts. The blood on Hull is mostly from Ferguson's cross-check that instigated the fight, as reported in an article in a Chicago Tribune article the following day: “Hull had moved in for a close-up shot, which went awry when Ferguson cross-checked a five-stitch cut on Bobby's nose. Both players dropped their gloves, and in a good exchange of blows, Hull raised a welt on the side of Ferguson's face.” The poster measures 22 x 28 inches and presents with a number of edge tears, but none impact the signature. Excellent condition.
