Offered is a "Tampa Nugget Mild Cigar" box owned by Elvis Presley and used for storage of personal items in one or more of his many automobiles. The box was part of Mike Moon's Elvis Museum for more than 35 years until it was sold, along with the bulk of the museum's holdings, in 2018. The box came to Moon in one of the many of Elvis' cars that he purchased for the museum. Longtime collector and dealer Stephen Shutts was able to purchase the cigar box from the museum in 2018, and his accompanying letter reads in part "The 1960's era Tampa Nugget Mild Cigar Box was in the possession of Elvis Presley, a known casual cigar aficionado. The box was used as a 'catch all' in one of Elvis' owned / gifted automobiles that Mike Moon of Mike Moon Elvis Presley Museums purchased and exhibited." We can only imaging what treasures Elvis' may have kept in this small personal container!  The box measures 9 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4 inches and presents with heavy wear from use. The lid is held on only by a section of the paper label. Very Good condition.
