Offered is a June 14, 1989, letter addressed to James Forsher Productions from legnedary Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. The production company was seeking Mr. Roddenberry's involvement on a project, which he gracefully declines in this letter, leaving us with a wonderful Roddenberry signature on gorgeous Star Trek: The Next Generation letterhead.
The letter reads “Dear Mr. Forsher: Thank you for your recent letter regarding your production 'History of the Movies'. Due to my current involvement with STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, I am unable to consider any other projects, but thank you for thinking of me. Best of luck on your endeavor. Sincerely Gene Roddenberry Excecutive Producer.” He has signed boldly in black felt tip pen. Also included is Mr. Roddenberry's business card as President of Norway Productions which features an image of the Star Trek Enterprise as its central design element. The letter is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The letter measures 8 ½ x 11 inches, and presents with little to no wear other than its original mailing folds. Near Mint condition. The business card presents with a horizontal crease across the card and remnants of mounting on the reverse, neither of which detract from its presentation value. Excellent condition.
