Offered is an 8 x 10 inch photo of one of the bombers from the famous Doolittle Tokyo Raid taking off for the mission signed by three members of the bombing mission. The photo is signed by Richard Cole, Edward Saylor and William Birch. Doolittle's Raid occurred on August 18, 1942, by the United States on the Japanese capital Tokyo and other places on Honshu during World War II. It was the first American air operation to strike the Japanese mainland after Pearl Harbor. Accompanied by COA from PSA/DNA. Near Mint to Mint condition.
