Offered is the Humes High School yearbook, The Herald, from 1950, Elvis Presley's freshman year. The yearbook emanates from Tommy Young (it actually has his sister's name on the cover), a high school chum of George Klein and later part of Elvis' 1957-58 traveling entourage. Elvis is listed on page 66 with the Library Workers. He is also depicted on page 83 with the Members of the Certification Class, pictured (third row from top, 11th from the left) and on page 84 with his name listed in homeroom “9-1.” These early copies are tougher and tougher to find. The yearbook measures 12 by 9 inches and presents with moderate to heavy wear. Very Good condition.
