Offered is a 1951 Associated Press wire photo featuring Clark Griffith--the image was used for Griffith's 1960 Fleer #15 card. An example of the Fleer card is included. The wire photo recounted Griffith's testimony before a Congressional committee looking into baseball's monopoly power. The 8 x 10 inch photo presents with expected newsroom markings and notations on the reverse, plus the period Associated Press stampings and original clipping when the story ran on October 16, 1951. Excellent condition.
