Offered are two unused "file copy" labels for Elvis Presley's 1955 Sun 215 “Milkcow Blues Boogie” 45 Single. Based on a group of these labels we have offered previously, these most-likely emanate from the files of Marion Keisker or another Sun employee. Marion Keisker, of course, is the office manager of The Memphis Recording Service and Sun Records for Sam Phillips in the 1950s. She was the very woman who was present the day in 1953 that a young singer named Elvis Presley walked into the Memphis Recording Service and recorded his first song. At first glance, the labels appear to be for the Sun 78 versions, with the smaller hole in the center. But the Sun 78s had different artwork than the offered pair. The larger 45 RPM hole would be achieved during the record production process. They each measure 3 5/8 inches in diameter and present in stunning MINT condition.
