The offered "Dell Publishing Co." original news photo captures Elvis Presley at The New Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas during his somewhat ill-fated two week engagement in April and May 1956. The famous photo was taken by Modern Screen magazine photographer Bob Beerman, but was NOT used in the magazine--another shot from the day was used in the article by super-fan and friend Judy Spreckles seen in the center of the frame. Spreckles befriended Elvis during the Vegas stint, and she ended up writing articles for Modern Screen and other period publications. They remained friends until Elvis' passing. The photo measures 8 x 10 inches, and the period print remains in very clean Near Mint to Mint condition.
