Offered is an original news service photo of Elvis Presley taken on May 15, 1957, in Hollywood. On May 14, 1957, while filming a dance scene for his film Jailhouse Rock, Elvis had a cap from one his teeth get caught in his lung. He spent night of May 15 in Hollywood's Cedars of Lebanon Hospital while the doctors removed the cap, and the offered photo captures him on the 16th being discharged with the help of every nurse in the building! The photo measures 7 x 8 inches and presents with remnants of a paper caption on the reverse, and indecipherable stampings. Excellent to Mint condition.
