Offered is a historic collection of 24 pieces related to planning and construction of Dodger Stadium. Upon arrival in Los Angeles in 1958, the team immediately started the planning for the Stadium at Chavez Ravine, and the offered collection has many rare items related to the process. Included:
1959 Dodgers Season Ticket Holder Invitation letter for the Chavez Ravine Groundbreaking on September 17, encouraging them to "please bring your shovel!";
RARE Formal invitation to September 17, 1959 Dodger Stadium Groundbreaking with artist's rendering and team photo;
1959 Oversized Dodger Stadium Artist's Rendition with Handwritten name of Season Ticket Holder added, with original accompanying brochure. This RARELY SEEN artifact measures 16 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches with easel back intact, some staining;
1958 Southern California Business (newsletter publication of the LA Chamber of Commerce) with story about the new stadium
1959 Los Angeles Taxpayer's Referendum "VOTE YES" Materials (3) incl. unused bumper sticker, letter and flyer;
1960 Season Ticket Holder brochure touting the new stadium to come;
