Offered are Elvis Presley's leaf themed bookends from his Beverly Hills home on Hillcrest Dr. They kept upright any number of his personal books at his Beverly Hills abode during the 1960s. Eventually the bookends were part of the legendary Jimmy Velvet collection and were sold in the June 1994 Butterfield & Butterfield auction of Jimmy's collection. The pair is accompanied by a 1994 certificate of authenticity signed by Jimmy Velvet, as well as copies of the catalog page showing the bookends (see photo at left). The bookends measure 7 x 9 inches and weigh a couple pounds each. One presents in Excellent condition, and the other has been repaired in several places presenting in lesser condition.
