Offered is a German A1 movie poster for Elvis Presley's 1966 film Frankie and Johnny. The killer German artwork features Elvis as the "King of Hearts" playing card, in line with the film's gambling theme. Elvis co-stars with Donna Douglas (of Beverly Hillbillies fame) in the film. Elvis' films were well into the formulaic by this entry, but this poster breaks the mold with a wonderfully different approach to the artwork. The poster lets ELVIS dominate the artwork and makes for a storng presentation. Measures 23 x 33 inches and presents with one fold separation at the lower center. Bold color. Excellent to Mint condition.
