1969 Elvis Presley Signed American Airlines Map - Date "12-17-69" - Also Signed by Charlie Hodge (PSA)

Offered is a 1969 American Airlines route map beautifully signed and inscribed by Elvis Presley in bright purple ink. "To Nancy from Elvis Presley" is written on the map, and just below Charlie Hodge has signed the map, as well. Nancy herself has noted the date and time of her happenstance meeting with Elvis with the same pen at the bottom: "12-17-69 / DAL-MEM / 1 AM FLI." The early morning flight from Dallas to Memphis was a connecting flight getting Elvis home from either Las Vegas, Palm Springs--he had been traveling to both cities quite a bit that fall. After his triumphant return to the stage at The International that summer, and trouble brewing between he and Priscilla, Elvis was constantly moving around until his next set of shows in January 1970. Imagine Nancy's surprise when she boarded the red eye flight and found Elvis on board! Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA. The map measures 8 x 9 inches when folded once, but it could be folded once more to its original size and displayed beautifully. There is evidence of residue from album mounting on one panel, and the folds are separated in several areas. None of these distresses detracts from the powerful signature of Elvis.
