Offered is a 1971 "American Forces Radio and Television Service" LP featuring eight songs from Elvis Presley's 1971 LP C'mon Everybody. While the first side of the LP includes songs from six artists, including Waylon Jennings, Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton, the second side is dedicated to Elvis ALONE--an indication of his popularity at the time. The songs are drawn from earlier Elvis soundtrack EPs for the films Kid Galahad, Follow that Dream, Viva Las Vegas and Easy Come, Easy Go. The Armed Forces Radio & Television Service was established in 1942 by the War Department to broadcast popular American radio and television to troops, government employees and families stationed overseas. It is still in operation today under the name American Forces Network, and over the years many stars have rallied to support U.S. efforts abroad. The LP presents with its original radio station sleeve and presents in STRONG Excellent condition.
