Offered is an original promotional poster created by Braniff International Airlines celebrating the painting of an entire plane by artist Alexander Calder. The aircraft artwork pictured was entitled "South American with Flying Colors" - it was one of three planes that Calder painted for Braniff. These posters are exceedingly tough to find in the original size, 43 x 32 inches, and the offered example has been signed boldly by the artist with his trademark "CA." Edge and corner wear and some wrinkling. Excellent condition.
