Offered is a 1975 Bob Dylan "Rolling Thunder Revue" Generic Handbill (Zebra Concerts). The lower portion was for local shows to add their information, either handwritten or printed. The "Rolling Thunder" tour took place in two parts, first in the fall of 1975 and then in the spring of 1976. The tour was conceived by Dylan on the heels of completing his 1975 masterpiece Desire, with the hit song "Hurrican". The idea behind the tour, Dylan said, was to "play for the people," the people who never get good seats at his larger concerts due to higher ticket cost and inconvenient locations. Dylan chose to play in smaller auditoriums because, he said, "the atmosphere in small halls is more conducive to what we do." This spring tour promoted on the offered poster included 22 shows from April 18 through May 25, 1976. The offered handbill measures 5 x 8 inches and presents in immaculate MINT condition.
