The offered poster was created to promote that Elvis’ December 2-12, 1976, Las Vegas Hilton engagements were "SOLD OUT". That 15th “season” would end up being Elvis’ last set of concerts at the legendary theater of the former International Hotel. These posters adorned any blank surface in the hotel that the Colonel’s promotional staff saw fit to cover. The offered paper banner is a great example of Colonel Parker’s penchant for adding the “SOLD OUT” phrase that so often ended up embellishing promotional pieces. The Colonel understood the value of making sure everyone understood the consistent draw of his one and only client. The poster reads “All ELVIS Concerts / Dec. 2 - Thur 12 / SOLD OUT / Season’s Greetings” flanked by the Hilton logo on either side. These posters are often seen with the bottom "Season's Greetings" portion removed--this example is complete and in the lesser seen red and green variety. The poster measures 27 x 14 inches and has its two adhesive strips still intact on the reverse. There is some chipping to the service and ares of distress. Excellent condition.
