The offered lyric sheet for the song "The Last Farewell" was used by Elvis Presley during the famous "Jungle Room Sessions" in 1976. Elvis hosted his first official home recording session in the Jungle Room of Graceland in February of 1976. The jungle-style furniture was moved so that a make-shift RCA studio could be temporarily installed. The recording sessions met with several fits and starts, but in the end Felton Jarvis was able to capture enough material to provide RCA with the basis for a ten-track album, a single and an additional stand-alone single. "The Last Farewell" was cut on the first day of the sessions and ended up as the final track on side one of the LP From Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee. This style of sheet music was used by Elvis while performing on stage, as well, but it is uncertain whether Elvis ever performed this song in concert. Accompanied with LOA from Felton Jarvis’ estate. The sheet measures 8 1/2 x 14 inches and presents with an area of paper loss in the lower right as well as some toning. Several notations to correct lyrics have been added in red ink in an unknown hand. Excellent condition.
