Offered are two special cards from the 2001 and 2002 Topps "American Pie" sets. Elvis Presley (PAP-EP2) containiing a piece of his jacket, and Janis Joplin (PAPM4) containing a piece of her dress. The sets were the brainchild of Florida Hobby store owner and Topps consultant Alan Narz. "American Pie" was a hybrid baseball/non-sports set designed to captured the essence of America at the height of the Baby Boomers Era of the '60's and '70's. While most of the cards were sports-related, the two offerings here were from the small subsets of "RELIC" cards, rare by design. Near Mint condition overall.
