Offered is a Coleman Hawkins twice-signed copy of his 1936 Bluebird 78 RPM Single "Tailspin Blues" / "One Hour". Hawkins has signed BOTH labels of the record neatly in fountain pen. Hawkins was one of the first prominent jazz musicians on the tenor saxophone, literally legitimizing the instrument as a jazz instrument. He's a seminal figure in American music, and he passed away in 1969. Hawkins signed records are exceedingly rare. Accompanied by an LOA from Beckett Authenticated. Near Mint condition.
