Encapsulated by PSA/DNA. D-Day Soldeir Huston "Hu" Riley Signed Famous Robert Capa Photo of Him on Omaha Beach. Th photo is part of what is known as The Magnificent Eleven, a group of photos of D-Day taken by war photographer Capa. Capa was with one of the earliest waves of troops landing on Omaha Beach. Capa stated that while under fire, he took 106 pictures, all but eleven of which were destroyed in a processing accident. Riley was mis-identified for years as another soldier, but he remembered meeting Capa on the beach when Capa helped him out of the water and thinking " What the hell is he doing here? He helped me out of the water and then he took off down the beach for some more photos.". Historic image.
