Offered are the contents of Trude Forsher's file cabinets related to Elvis Presley's fan mail. The offices were inundated with fan mail in the 1950s and this collection are some of the letters and correspondence that Trude kept for posterity. The missives come from as far away as Greece and South America. There are also pages of Trude's shorthand notes and one fascinating little ring with "EF" monogrammed on the face.

This offering is from The Trude Forsher Archive. This auction features several lots right from the filing cabinet of Trude's offices while working for Elvis & the Colonel. Colonel Parker hired Trude Forsher as West Coast secretary for him and Elvis while they were in Hollywood. She began this role in 1956 and continued through Elvis’ first four films before parting ways to branch out on her own in 1961. While in the employ of the Colonel and the king, Trude was responsible for assisting with the promotion of this emerging star so her duties spanned the spectrum to include the basic task of taking dictation for letters to organizing mailings of holiday greetings and everything in between.

The materials present in Excellent condition overall with expected wear from storage and filing. Some lesser.
