Offered is an Elvis Presley "Fender Heavy" white guitar pick discovered inside the 1953 Martin 0021 guitar that Elvis gifted to Jack Lord and played at his house. Presley befriended Lord and his wife Marie while working on his Aloha from Hawaii TV special. Elvis gave Jack a gold Walther PPK, and Jack reciprocated with a banjo from his collection of vintage musical instruments. Months later, when the Lords visited Elvis in Las Vegas, Presley gave Marie a custom-made belt, and Jack received this remarkable guitar.

The guitar famously sold in the Jack Lord Estate auction some years ago, and copy of the original letter from the First Hawaiian bank (that handled the Jack Lord estate) is included. Also included is a letter from noted collector Chris Davidson, who bought the guitar in the auction, that states in part "I purchased the pick, which came inside Elvis Presley's 1953 Martin acoustic guitar that was given to Jack Lord in 1973...The pick was lodged inside the acoustic guitar." The vintage 1970's Fender pick was broken at that time and is missing a small chunk near the tip. Very Good condition.
