Offered are a pair of Elvis Presley's stage-worn white boots which he gifted to Memphis Mafia member Charlie Hodge. Charlie met Elvis when they both shipped to Germany in the Army, and they stayed very close until the end of Elvis' life. Charlie was on stage with Elvis for every concert, and lived at Graceland. The Brazilian-made boots have a logo on the insole that reads "The BOTAS Collection", but the brand name has worn off from use. ("Botas" is Portuguese for "boots".) Each sole is stamped "MADE IN BRAZIL".

The boots are accompanied by a letter from Charlie Hodge that reads reads in part

These white boots with a square toe and black heels were worn by Elvis both on and off stage. Elvis always liked to make a dramatic appearance and these white boots would always set off the appearance of his white jumpsuit. Elvis was always the ultimate showman. Elvis gave me these boots in the middle seventies when he was cleaning out his closet. He often did that with his clothes and his jewelry.

The boots are also accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Elvis Presley Museum signed by Jimmy Velvet--the letter expresses Jimmy's opinion that the boots are authentic. The boots show signs of heavy use, but present with no damage. The leather uppers are still supple, and the soles and heels are worn but intact. Excellent to Mint condition.
