Legendary Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury has signed the offered piece of paper "Freddie Mercury". On the reverse is marked "Brasil 1981", likely indicating it was signed during Queen's 1981 World Tour in support of their 1980 LP The Game, which took them to Sao Paulo, Brazil, on March 20-21 that year. The signature is framed with a black and white print of Mercury on stage at Estádio do Morumbi in Sao Paolo, and it was here that one of the most moving moments in Queen history happened, when 130,000 fans sang along to “Love Of My Life” – a scene recreated in the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic.

Mercury formed Queen in 1970 with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. Mercury wrote numerous hits for Queen, including "Killer Queen", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Somebody to Love", "We Are the Champions", "Don't Stop Me Now", and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". Regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. Mercury defied the conventions of a rock frontman, with his highly theatrical style influencing the artistic direction of Queen. The signature is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authenticated. The paper measures 2 ½ x 2 ¾ inches, and the framed display measures 11 x 18 inches. Near Mint condition.
