Offered is a nice group of Elvis Presley Christmas postcards, other postcards and a moving letter from a fan to a fan club, sent shortly after Elvis' passing. The collection includes:
- 1966 "Seasons Greetings from Elvis & The Colonel" (Elvis in red jacket);
- 1965 "Seasons Greetings from Elvis & The Colonel" (Colonel in Santa Suit/Elvis Pinstriped Jacket);
- 1971 "Season Greetings Elvis" (Elvis in "long fringe" jumpsuit");
- 1972 "Seasons Greetings Elvis & The Colonel" (Colonel in Santa Suit/Elvis in "red pinwheel" jumpsuit);
- 1973 "Happy Birthday to you in 1973 Sincerely Elvis" (Elvis in "red pinwheel" jumpsuit);
- 1975 "Seasons Greetings Elvis & The Colonel" (Colonel in Santa Suit/Elvis in "red phoenix" jumpsuit);
- 1971 Elvis Country LP insert postcard (Childhood photo);
- 1970 "Thanks Elvis" postcard with "ELVIS NOW" at the Internatioinal Hotel ad on reverse;
- 1973 "Sincerely Elvis" postcard with "Elvis May 4 thru 20 - 1973 / Del Webb's Sahara Tahoe" ad on reverse;
- 1978 Elvis Presley Birthplace postcard;
- 1970's Custom postcard made by fan with photo of fan with Elvis "The King and I"; and
- July 1978 Five Page Letter from a fan to the "Elvis Our Guardian Angel E.P.F.C." (California Elvis fan club) with original mailing envelope and club membership card. The letter is a heartfelt summation that Elvis' memory will outlast the scandalous and unfair reporting in the months following his passing, including the bad information in the "Elvis our Guardian Angel" newsletters. It's a bit of a scathing rebuke of the rumors that have been repeated, and it attempts to clear up a number of points of misinformation about Elvis' funeral and the arrangements.
All pieces present with wear from handling, and several of the postcards have album adhesive residue on them. Excellent condition overall, with some just lesser.
