This British quad is a scarcely seen example of an English Elvis Presley poster. It was created to promote Elvis' 1962 film Follow That Dream. The poster promises that this is "His Funniest...Happiest...Wildest...Motion Picture!"  The movie was made on location in north-central Florida. Interestingly, a young 11-year old Floridian named Tom Petty saw the production in process and met Elvis on the set. It changed his life and drove him into a life pursuing music. The U.S. versions of most Elvis Presley movie posters are readily available, but the British Quad versions are much more scarce. The artwork is always distinct, and the color schemes are bold and vivacious making these U.K. posters highly sought after by collectors. The offered example is no exception with its bright colorful artwork. The poster measures 40 x 30 inches and presents with many areas of paper loss and wrinkling, but most of the distresses avoid the central artwork area which exhibits some areas of staining. Very Good to Excellent condition.
