Offered is a nice pair of items from Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax, including a signed Official National League baseball (A. Bartlett Giamatti) and a presentable copy of his 1955 Topps #123 rookie baseball card. The baseball is from the short, three year tenure of Giamatti from 1986 to 1989 as National League President. The plaque on the display reads "Sandy Koufax / Brooklyn Dodgers," and presents the ball and card side by side. The baseball is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic.The ball presents with moderate toning and sweet spot signature that grades a 8-9. Excellent to Mint condition. The card is in the GOOD range, with well-worn corners and surface scuffing.
