Offered is a 1963 copy of The Beatles Book Monthly which has been signed by Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon and Ringo Starr. The fan magazine was signed by the band members for a young fan who attended one their November 1963 concerts at the Adelphi Theatre in Slough, England. Her accompanying handwritten letter reads:
The Beatles were topping the bill on a UK tour in the Autumn of 1963. I saw them when they appeared at The Adelphi in Slough in November 1963, where I was lucky enough to get them to sign my Beatles Book No. 4, which I have treasured ever since!
John Lennon and George Harrison have signed on the front cover, and Ringo Starr has signed boldly on his full page image on the interior. Paul McCartney signed on his centerfold spread portrait. By this point in their exploding career, The Beatles were getting tougher and tougher to get to for autographs, but our dedicated young fan made her way to all four of the boys to create this amazing artifact.
The Beatles Book Monthly started publishing only that August in 1963, and the offered issue is "No. 4." Each issue feature great photography, letters to the band, articles (some of which were written by Beatles roadies Neil Aspinall and Mal Evans) and the lyrics to a Beatles song.
The signed publication is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic and a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles autograph expert Frank Caiazzo. The publication measures 6 x 8 ¼ inches and it presents with moderate wear to the binding and other edge wear. Excellent to Mint condition.
