The offered Decca Records promotional photo has been signed by Rock and Roll pioneer Bill Haley and two of "His Comets" Billy Williamson and Johnny Grande. Grande and Williamson were with Haley from days when he changed the name of his band to "Bill Haley and the Comets" at the urging of a friend. Haley's international hit "Rock Around the Clock" is cited as one of the most important songs in Rock and Roll history. In the offered photo, most likely from 1954 or 1955, Haley has signed right next to his image, in blue ink. The photo shows Haley and his five bandmates at the time who were, left to right, Billy Williamson, Johnny Grande, Joey D'Ambrosio, Marshall Lytle and Dick Richards. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The photo measures 8 x 10 inches and presents with minor creases, small stains and writing on the reverse. Excellent to Mint condition.
