NBA legend Michael Jordan has signed the offered Upper Deck Authenticated University of North Carolina jersey. Jordan signed on the "2" of his number "23" on the back of this limited edition jersey which lists Jordan's NCAA accomplishments at UNC as "1981/82-83/83 / 1982 NCAA CHAMPION / COLLEGE PLAYER OF THE YEAR-1983, 1984 / LIMITED TO 123." The size "46" NIKE jersey is hand numbered "120/123," and the plaque reads: "MICHAEL JORDAN #23 / NORTH CAROLINA." Before the world saw what he would become as a pro, Jordan showed more promise than almost any other college prospect after his storied career as a Tarheel. He and UNC won the Tournament in 1982, and he won College Player of the Year in 1983 AND 1984. Yet somehow, he goes THIRD in the 1984 NBA draft! Olajuwan at number 1, OK, but Sam Bowie's short-lived, injury-ridden career will forever haunt the Portland Trailblazers.
