This 1934 Quaker Oats pinback is the largest full-color pin produced during Babe Ruth's legendary playing career. The large, 3 inch diameter pin was available as a premium from Quaker Oats in conjunction with its “Ask ME” baseball trivia card game they offered in 1935. The company employed Ruth as a spokesman in the mid-1930s, and the various premiums and advertising pieces that resulted are highly sought after by advanced baseball collectors. While the pin presents with slight surface wear and is technically in Excellent to Mint condition, it is certainly above-average among the other examples extant.
