The offered “ELVIS Special Souvenir Package” is an prime example of Colonel Tom Parker's marketing thoroughness. For many of the Las Vegas Hilton concerts, he had these paper envelopes created and filled them with souvenirs from the current show but also from whatever supply of ephemera he had left from previous concerts. There was also probably an RCA calender originally included, but this assemblage is a perfect representation of these efforts, for which fans paid the princely sum of “$3.00”. Included:

  • “ELVIS Special Souvenir Package” Green Envelope – printed with the dates “December 2nd thru 15th-1975”;
  • Summer Festival 1975 Souvenir Tour Photo with “SOLD OUT” Concert Map on the reverse, 8 ½ x 11 inches;
  • Summer Festival 1975 Hilton Postcard, 7 x 5 inches;
  • Souvenir Poster (Peacock Jumpsuit), 12 x 18 inches;
  • Summer Festival 1971 small poster (“ELVIS NOW! Thru Labor Day Sept. 6th" ad back), 7 x 12 inches; and
  • 1974 Special Photo Folio, 11 x 11 inches.

The envelope has several tears and is wrinkled, Excellent condition. The other material presents Near Mint overall, with some minor wear.
