The 1939 All-Star Game was played at Yankee Stadium. Six Yankees started for the American League squad, and Joe DiMaggio hit the game's only home run. A 20-year-old Bob Feller shutout the National League All-Stars for the final three innings to secure an American League 3 to 1 victory. 25 years later, the surviving members of that victorious AL squad met for a reunion at Yankee Stadium on July 25, 1964. This gorgeous ONL (Giles) baseball is a relic from that historic reunion. The ball is signed by 18 players, including Joe DiMaggio, Jimmie Foxx, Hank Greenberg, Lefty Grove, Bill Dickey, Joe McCarthy, Bob Feller, Ted Lyons, Joe Cronin, Roger Cramer, Red Rolfe, George Case, Johnny Murphy, Luke Appling, George Sukeforth, George McQuinn and Rollie Hemsley. In Near Mint condition, the ball exhibits mild toning. The signatures are minimally 8-9 in strength. Accompanied by LOAs from PSA/DNA and Beckett Authentic.
