This wonderful large, cardboard poster promotes the 1965 tour of the "Caravan of Stars" that featured an eclectic mix of performers of the period. Tom Jones, The Shirelles and Peter & Gordon were the headliners, on bill that included 12 acts. Van Morrison's band THEM was also on the bill. The offered example was customized at the top for the show on August 14, 1965, at Convention Hall in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. The poster measures 22 x 28 inches and presents some minor paper loss at the corners, edge wear and a large crease down the middle. The reverse presents with several large pieces of tape and large areas of staining. Very Good to Excellent condition.
