Offered is a 1967 "Christmas Radio Show" poster in it original mailing tube from Colonel Parker to Jean and Pam Drew, Presidents of the EP Continentals Fan Club in Chicago, Illinois. The pairing combine to make a unique offering, rarely seen. Colonel and his team were great about supporting Elvis' fan clubs, and the offered poster shows to what lengths they would go to make sure they felt appreciated.

This holiday advertising poster for Elvis’ December 3, 1967 special radio program depicts full-color images of eight Elvis albums and singles available at that time and includes, “Santa Claus is Back in Town / Blue Christmas,” Elvis’ Christmas Album, Elvis Sings Christmas Songs, Christmas With Elvis, Peace in the Valley, “If Every Day Was Like Christmas / How Would You Like To Be,” How Great Thou Art, and His Hand in Mine. The poster is further decorated with full-color cartoons of Santa Claus and boughs of holly down the sides. The base of the advertising poster boasts, “HEAR ELVIS’ SPECIAL RADIO PROGRAM ON MORE THAN 2,000 STATIONS DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.” Colonel Parker was always keeping Elvis fresh in the minds of fans - especially during the holidays, when he would market special programs. The poster measures approximately 50 ½ x 31 ½ inches, and the mailing tube measures 32 ½ x 2 ½ inches. The poster presents with minor edge wear, including toning, small tears and wrinkels, and the tube presents with wear commensurate with mailing. Excellent condition overall.
