Autographs are all graded MINT 9 or GEM MINT 10 by PSA/DNA. Offered is a stunning group of 16 George Burke 5 x 7 inch photos of baseball Hall of Famers. Every single one has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA with autograph grades of 9 or 10. Burke's status as a baseball photographer is legendary. With his partner George Brace, the pair spent years as the official photographers of the Chicago White Sox and Cubs, from the late 1920s to the early 1950s. They endeavored to record a portrait of every player in the league during that period, and being in a city with an American and a National league team made that possible. The offered photos were printed from the original negatives, but most-likely at a later time, and captures the players in their primes in the 1930s and 1940s. Each Hall of Famer has signed neatly in fine Sharpie, as evidenced by the superior grades by PSA/DNA. The signatures create a very tidy, classic look to each autographed photo.
