Offered is an impressive Doug West original painting of Frank Gifford which was commissioned by The Pro Football Hall of Fame. The mixed media artwork (water color and acrylic) features the New York Giants Hall of Fame quarterback in several action scenes from his legendary career. Artist West has created a number of these artworks for The Hall of different players, including Dick Butkus, Jim Brown, Jim Taylor, etc. They would then create a limited edition lithograph from the paintings, usually available at a Hall of Fame luncheon prior to each years Induction Ceremony. BUT THIS IS THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK. West is a noted sports artists that has been highly sought after by collectors for years. The painting measures 41 x 30 inches on artboard. Near Mint condition.
