Offered is a Paul Stanley studio-used Ibanez Model "IC-50" Iceman electric guitar. The serial number on the guitar "B800213" indicate it was produced in February 1980. Also included are two pieces signed by Paul, as well as the well-worn guitar case with a massive 1980's Paul signature on the front with "KISS" inscribed below his name. An advanced KISS collector with ties to the band acquired the guitar directly from Bill Aucoin's (the band's 1970's Manager) personal storage facility.

The guitar is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Damien Vivona, Producer and Director of the film Inside the Casbah, a documentary about the history of Casablanca Records & Filmworks. Vivona facilitated the sale of the guitar from the collector. The letter states in part:

This letter is to hereby certify and authenticate "Paul Stanley Ibanez IC-50 Signed" PSIC5000080:"Aucoin Management" personal Session Studio Guitar. This 1980 Ibanez IC-50 became Paul Stanley's workhorse in the studio and played throughout the 80's by himself and other Aucoin's artist's at that time. The guitar has seen it's share of better days but still intact after all these years. The guitar includes Paul's signature "time period correct" on the unique of a kind hard shell case. The design of the case and it's condition shows that this instrument was a real player. This collection lot also features other signed memorabilia from Paul himself. The poster is an endorsement ad for Paul Stanley's Ibanez Iceman guitars and was used in the retail to promote his guitar line with Ibanez.

The guitar shows heavy, heavy use but presents intact, as expected for a studio "workhorse" like this. Wear to the body, front and back, obvious repairs to the plug jack, missing paint in a number of places. Very Good to Excellent condition.
