This game worn road white Jersey was  Ronnie Bull's in his final season with the Chicago Bears. Ronnie played professionally from 1962-1971 and spent all but the final year of his career with the Bears. After excelling in the collegiate ranks at Baylor, he was one of the most sought after prospects in professional football in the early 1960s. He was selected with the third overall pick of the 1962 AFL Draft by the Dallas Texans, but instead elected to pursue a career in the NFL, where he went on to win both the AP and UPI rookie of the year award. This light weight jersey with embedded sleeve striping was made at a unique point in NFL history as the 1970 season was the first one where players names were displayed on the backside. His name is sewn very high directly onto the backside of the jersey and is sewn just above the horizontal transverse seam.
