The offered photo is signed and inscribed by actress Debra Paget, Elvis Presley's co-star in his first film, Love Me Tender. The photo was signed for Trude Forsher, Elvis' west coast Hollywood secretary. In her position, Trude would often interact with other stars, and especially co-stars from Elvis' films. The inscription reads: "To Trude-A very sweet person to whom I wish lots of happiness always-Debra Paget." Interestingly, also included is an office copy of the thank you letter that Trude sent to "Miss Paget" after receiving the photo. The letter is dated October 4, 1956, and reads: "Thank you so very much for you beautiful picture and your kind words. I shall treasure it always, it will be framed and displayed in my study. When someone as busy as you are takes time out of a busy schedule, to do one this kindness--its a favor that will always be appreciated." The photo is still housed in its period frame and emanates from the Trude Forsher archive. The photo measures 8x 10 inches and presents with some moderate toning and other minor distresses. Excellent condition.
