Offered is a 1865 free frank signed by President Lincoln's Secretary of War, Edwin Stanton. The letter had been sent to General George Washington Cullum. Cullum served as a general in the Union Army during the Civil War, primarily in the Western Theater and served as the 16th Superintendent of the United States Military Academy. Accompanied by LOA from Beckett Authentic. Excellent condition.
