Encapsulated Beckett Authentic. Offered is a Ty Cobb signed check on his "Tyrus R. Cobb" account from the First National Bank of Nevada in Reno. The check is dated "Jan. 11 1948" and is written to "A. C. Skelton" for $85--Skelton was one of Cobb''s insurance agents in Georgia. The full name fountain pen signature is unsullied by bank cancellation holes or stampings. Small area of paper loss on the center back from mounting-does not affect the front in the least. Excellent to Mint condition.
