Offered is the a copy of August 16, 1954, first issue of Sports Illustrated. The magazine is accompanied by its orignial pictorial envelope. The 1954 Topps baseball card foldout remains intact, as well. The magazine measures 8 ? x 11 ? inches and presents with only the most minor corner and binding edge wear, and very little distress on the front and back cover. The slightest discoloration in the upper right. Near Mint condition. The envelope presents with moderate toning and expectec wear from mail handling. Minor paper loss along the bottom with small tears to the envelope flap. Very Good to Excellent condition.
