Offered is a January 1955 letter on Playboy stationary signed by Hugh Hefner. The letter is to legendary Playboy photographer Bunny Yeager, and Hefner is discussing the magazine's evolving philosophy on centerfold models at a crucial juncture in its history. Yeager became one of the most important pinup photographers of the era, best known for her photos of Bettie Page. The most famous images of Page by Yeager include the January 1955 Playboy centerfold in which she kneels wearing only a Santa hat while hanging a silver ornament on a Christmas tree—this issue would have still been on the newsstands when Hefner sent the offered letter! LOA for Hugh Hefner Letter and Hologram Sticker for Christie Hefner from Beckett Authentic.
